Putting the decorator’s hat on

It probably goes without saying but choosing colours and materials that complement your home is essential – especially given how long steel lasts. So where do you start?

The Roof

Your roof is a large part of your home’s exterior so take your time making your decision. Thankfully, COLORBOND® steel comes in 22 designer colours ranging from classic to contemporary to make your choice easier. It also offers a range of fascias, gutters and downpipes that you can match or contrast with your roof colour.

The Wall

Wall colours and finishes are available in a wide range from bricks and render to cement sheet and corrugated iron. Depending upon your house’s design you might like to choose a few of them rather than just settling for just one. Our corrugated steel, for example, looks great as vertical or horizontal cladding or even as a feature panel.

What About the Garage Door?

Leave this decision until you’ve settled on your roof and walls. You might choose to use the door as a design statement or simply keep it muted. Choosing the same colour as the roof can also offer an attractive alternative as can timber grain style. Whatever your tastes, chances are we can help you.

The Icing on the Cake

We know choosing can be difficult so we ensure leading paint companies carry our colours in their ranges. Better still, most of them are available as a standard exterior paint colour as well as powder.

Many window manufacturers also replicate our colours. When choosing yours don’t forget that they should blend with the interior not just the exterior. Similarly, fences, sheds, carports and water tanks are also offered in our range of colours.

As for the front door, keep in mind you’re not just making a design statement, you’re making a statement of welcome too.
